Patricia Wallace has been named interim executive director at Pilchuck Glass School. She replaces Arthur Jacobus, who resigned Dec. 11 to return to the performing arts. Wallace has been a member of Pilchuck’s Board of Trustees since 1992 and served as board president for the past five years.
Courtney Hashimoto has been promoted to senior vice president and special assets team leader at Cascade Bank. Hashimoto joined Cascade in 2008 as a commercial lending officer, after working in the field for more than 30 years. He works out of the bank’s corporate headquarters in downtown Everett.

Local ad agency Chatter Creative created a new logo design for the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce. Designer Matthew Mikulsky said his inspiration for the new design is directly derived from spending time on the waterfront in downtown Edmonds. The chamber also will add many new member benefits, as well as features that make use of Twitter and Facebook.

Good deeds
Housing Hope, a local affordable housing and services agency, has received a $50,000 grant from The Boeing Co. Charitable Trust. The grant will launch Housing Hope’s HopeWorks, an incubator for new social enterprises. HopeWorks will create tailored training and employment opportunities for Housing Hope residents and other low-income families in Snohomish County.
