Todd Falduti is the new general manager of Everett Mall. Falduti was general manager at Westfield Solano mall in Fairfield, Calif., where he helped plan and implement a $10 million redevelopment.
Michael Allison is the new executive vice president and chief credit officer of Opus Bank. The California-based bank recently acquired Everett-based Cascade Bank.
Bryan Nichols, the former marketing manager for Nichols Brothers Boat Builders on Whidbey Island, has joined Vigor Industrial of Seattle as a sales representative. Vigor runs ship building and repair in Seattle, Tacoma, Bremerton, Everett and Port Angeles.
Mark Wolken has been appointed to the Ecosystem Coordination board of the Puget Sound Partnership Leadership Council. Wolken, a planning consultant, is a Port of Everett commissioner.
Deborah Squires of Mukilteo, former vice president of marketing at United Way of Snohomish County, has been named director of community engagement at Northwest Harvest in Seattle. She will oversee marketing, media relations and volunteers.

A free barbecue for people who want to learn how to fly will be held at noon Saturday at Blue Aviation, 18306 59th Drive NE at the Arlington Airport. There will be a free seminar at 11 a.m. on the light sport pilot license, which can be earned in half the time and half the cost of a traditional pilot’s license. Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will hold two candidate forums this fall. The first will start at 7 a.m. Sept. 26 at the City Council chambers at 250 Fifth Ave. N. and include hospital and school board candidates. The second is at 7 a.m. Oct. 3 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N and will include candidates for mayor and City Council.
The Port of Everett commission will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Blue Heron Room at the port offices at 1205 Craftsman Way. It will hold a public hearing on its redistricting plan and proposed boundaries, hear a report on the mitigation of the deconstruction of the historic Collins Building and interpretive history project, discuss its tax levy and hear a report on its marina district plan.

Fluke Corp. has entered into an agreement with the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Electrical Industry to provide $1 million in cash, test equipment and training support over the next five years for the next generation of electrical union workers.
Honors
Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington has been named among the Top 100 hospitals in the nation with low fees and quality care. Cascade was one of three hospitals in Washington state to receive the award from Cleverley and Associates, a health care consulting firm. The other two are University of Washington and Virginia Mason medical centers. Cascade was also designated a five-star facility by Cleverly.
