EVERETT — Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, a discount grocer, will open a second Everett location at the end of the month.
The 18,000-square-foot store at 5209 Evergreen Way is scheduled to open Nov. 29 and is expected to create about 25 new jobs.
Grocery Outlet offers fresh produce, meat, deli and natural and organic foods. It touts up to 4o percent to 70 percent off typical brand-name groceries.
The new store will take over the space formerly leased by Party @ Display & Costume, which closed late last year after 25 years in business.
Grocery Outlet also operates a store at 710 SE Everett Mall Way.
Other Snohomish County stores are in Arlington, Bothell, Lynnwood, Marysville and Monroe. The Emeryville, California-based chain operates more than 300 locations in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington.
Debbie and Tod Jackson, the new store’s independent owner-operators, will hold a grand opening ceremony at 8:55 a.m. on Nov. 29.
