LAKE STEVENS — Discount retailer T.J. Maxx will open a new Lake Stevens store this month.
The 21,000 square foot outlet opens Oct. 20 in the Frontier Village shopping center on Highway 9 NE in Lake Stevens.
“Our newest store in Lake Stevens will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise,” Tim Miner, president of T.J. Maxx said in a news release.
The store will offer clothing for adults and children, jewelry, home goods, pet products and toys.
The Lake Stevens store expects to generate about 60 full and part-time jobs.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 20.
The first 500 customers will receive, free reusable bags.
Regular hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday.
The Massachusetts-based retail chain operates more than 1,200 outlets in the U.S.
