EVERETT — Police are searching for a male who attempted to kidnap a female and pull her into the back of an SUV on Wednesday in Everett.
Around 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Everett police responded to a 911 call of an attempted kidnapping in progress in the 10200 block of Montana Road in South Everett. A female victim reported she was attacked by a male who attempted to pull her into the back of his vehicle. The victim was able to resist the suspect by fighting him off, police said.
Numerous officers responded to the location to search for the suspect but were unable to locate the vehicle.
The suspect is described as an older, heavyset white male with a short beard and salt and pepper hair. The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be similar to a black Chevrolet SUV, a social media post said.
