Fluffy Cora is looking for a home for the holidays…and all the days after, too! She seems to be a quiet cat and has done well with another calm cat here at the shelter. A slow introduction to her new home will help everyone adjust more easily. (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.
Essie and Spot were surrendered to the shelter due to their owner moving into assisted living. They are used to a quieter home and would prefer to stay together. They are both very sweet cats, but may be a bit timid at first until they get to know you. We recommend that these two go to a home without children under the age of 10, and preferably without dogs as well. (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
