Get crafty: Are you and the kids feeling a little cooped up? Creation Station in Lynnwood is one place to put the kibosh on cabin fever.
Half of the store features newer craft items for sale, but the other half is a crafting studio where kids can create art using bins of salvaged stuff.
That includes “CDs, rubber tubing, cardboard tubes, paper and plastic things we don’t even know the names of,” said owner Frank Knight.
It costs $6.95 per crafter for up to two hours. Plus, you’ll be going green and recycling by using junk that would normally be packed into landfills.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays with 3 p.m. closures on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and all-day closures on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Call ahead to reserve space for large groups.
