Everett Public Library events: Free story times for 2- to 3-year-olds through Dec. 2: 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Mondays at Evergreen branch, 9512 Evergreen Way, Tuesdays at main library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. Free story times for 3- to 6-year-olds through Dec. 4: 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at Evergreen, Thursdays at main. Free family story times and crafts: 4 p.m. through Dec. 4, Wednesdays at Evergreen, Thursdays at main. KIDSTAGE auditions: Grades 4-12 can audition for “Bye Bye Birdie” Nov. 18 and 20. Rehearsals begin Dec. 9, production Feb. 19-22, Everett Performing Arts Center. Tuition $300 if cast. 425-257-6371.

Young singers sought for Columbia Children’s Choir: Children in grades 1-8 can audition for the choir’s Lynnwood group, no experience required but an audition and ability to concentrate and carry a tune are necessary.
