Clematis ‘Carnaby’
This is one of the compact, profuse bloomers that many search for in a clematis. A wonderful vining plant, clematis is often called ‘Queen of the Vines’ and for good reason. They provide so much interest in the garden, without taking up too much space. ‘Carnaby’ is well suited for both containers, or borders where it is a lovely selection for climbing up a pergola, wall, fence or homemade tripod. It features 6 inch, two-toned pink flowers that bloom in early summer, then repeat later in the season. Clematis ‘Carnaby’ flowers on new growth, so prune early in the spring.
