Rose ‘Hot Cocoa’
What: Rose “Hot Cocoa” is an award-winning floribunda that was considered a color breakthrough when it was introduced in 2003. Its coloration has been described as everything from brick-red, to red-chocolate or smokey purple. In fact it is all of those. From the moment that the buds form and the flower continues to open, it seems to change colors. Hot Cocoa makes an interesting addition to the garden because of its many attributes, such as being disease-resistant, blooming spring through fall, possessing a delightful fragrance and sporting ruffled blooms. For these reasons and more, this rose won the All-American Rose Selection Award.
