A fun and inspirational musical wraps up the 2022-23 season at Red Curtain Arts Center in Marysville.
“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” will run May 26-June 11 at the Marysville theater.
The Tony award-winning show has charmed audiences for the last 12 years with its wit and humor. In it, an eclectic group of mid-pubescents (played by adult actors) vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Only one will be crowned the champion; the others get a juice box.
“Spelling Bee” will run for three weekends, with performances at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $22 for adults, $18 for seniors/students/military. Buy tickets online, over the phone at 360-322-7402, or at the box office from 2-6 p.m.Tuesday-Saturday.
The show is rated PG for language.
The Red Curtain Arts Center is located at 9315 State Ave, Suite J, in the Goodwill shopping center, behind the EvCC cosmetology school, in Marysville.
