Meena is a happy, silly, smart well behaved dog that is looking for a home that is familiar with separation anxiety. She has lived with kids and other dogs. She has also lived with cats but she likely to chase them at first so very slow introductions are a must. She cannot live with small animals such as rabbits, chicken or ferrets. Her new home must have another dog that can be best friends with Meena so a meet and greet prior to adoption is required. Meena needs a family that is committed to helping her manage her severe separation anxiety. If you are familiar with separation anxiety and have a plan in place to help this wonderful dog be happy and healthy come meet Meena today! (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)
The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.
Leo is a special young dog looking for just the right home. He is very big and frightens easily. Our volunteer team has been working with him and he is ready to start looking for his new home. Leo’s new home will need a home experienced with Great Danes and fearful dogs. He will need an adult only home and all family members will need to come in and meet him. Leo has in the past tried to live with other dogs and he has decided that is not for him. He has not been around cats and at this point we are recommending a feline free home. Once Leo warms up he will be your best friend and is a very goofy dog. He knows lots of little tricks and commands and is even house trained. Leo has great potential and is a very stunning dog. Manda is a very active Border Collie looking for an adult only home. She cannot live with cats and will need a meet and greet with any resident canines prior to adoption. She can be mouthy when playing and will bark at visitors. Manda will need a fenced yard or to be taken out on leash because she will run off. If you are looking for a hiking or running partner come meet Manda today! (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)
