This year’s attendees are eager to explore a variety of topics. Cheri J. hopes to find community activities for her husband, who has mobility challenges. Pamela G. is excited to discover new hobbies and volunteer opportunities, while Shirley D. wants to learn about discounts and senior perks.

Social connections are a top priority. “Connecting with other seniors and finding volunteer opportunities will help my social life,” Muriel R. shares.

For many, like Georgene R., the expo is a chance to stay informed: “I am always interested in health-related issues, support services and any changes in Medicare.”

A vibrant community atmosphere

Past exhibitors have praised the expo’s energy and organization. Karen Anderson, senior living advisor, described her experience as “Overall, 10 out of 10… The mood in the room was very positive.” Vendors like Jason Lincoln of Keller Williams Realty also found the experience valuable: “It was a well-organized event with great opportunities to engage with attendees.”

Exciting features you won’t want to miss

Informative speaker series – Hear from experts on healthcare, financial planning and social engagement. A highlight is retired Navy Captain Kim Buike, who will share insights from his military career and life lessons.

50+ exhibitors – engage with organizations such as Community Transit and Homage, all providing valuable senior services.

Health and wellness tips – experts from the Snohomish County Health Department and Puget Sound Kidney Centers will offer advice on maintaining well-being.

Exciting prizes and giveaways – register online for a chance to win a trip for two on the Victoria Clipper, plus enjoy free samples and raffles.

Community and social connections – meet new friends and expand your social circle in a welcoming environment.

Free entry and easy parking – the event is free to attend, and parking is hassle-free.

Why you won’t want to miss it

“When you retire, you don’t have that work family and work life, so it’s time to find new connections,” says The Daily Herald’s expo coordinator Jacqueray Smith. “It’s also time to explore all those interests and passions you haven’t had time for!”

The senior expo isn’t just about gathering information – it’s about creating an experience. Whether it’s learning about independent living, accessing resources, or making new friends, attendees leave feeling empowered.

As Sonia Gustafson from Library on Wheels put it: “It was wonderful meeting vendors and signing people up for library services.”
