LYNNWOOD — A shooting in a Lynnwood park Monday night left one person dead and two injured.
Around 10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at Lynndale Park, according to Lynnwood police. The park, located at 18927 72nd Ave W, is next to Lynndale Elementary School.
Officers found one person dead at the scene. Two others were taken to the hospital, police said.
Four people were involved in the shooting, according to the department. It was unclear what led to the shooting or if anyone was arrested.
Detectives believed this was an “isolated incident” with “no threat” to the public.
Lynnwood police spokesperson Maren McKay declined to provide further details Tuesday morning.
“Staff has been working around the clock since the call came in last night to find answers,” she said in an email.
