SEATTLE — Officials say one man remains in intensive care at a Seattle hospital nearly a month after an electrical explosion at a hydroelectric dam on the Columbia River.
Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg said in a news release that another man involved in the explosion was discharged from the hospital Friday.
Gregg says the man still in the hospital is improving.
Six men who work for the Grant County Public Utility District have been treated at Harborview and other hospitals for burns sustained in the Oct. 8 explosion.
Officials have said the explosion at the Priest Rapids Dam was caused by an electrical equipment malfunction.
The publicly-owned utility serves about 46,000 customers in Grant County, which is about 150 miles east of Seattle.
