Army Pvt. Brock Reinecke, son of Scott and Melissa Reinecke of Camano Island, recently completed basic combat training at Fort Sill, Okla. Reinecke is a 2009 graduate of Stanwood High School and currently is in his second year at Washington State University in the Reserve Officer Training Corps program.

Navy Midshipman Austin Bentley, son of Allyson Coleman and Jeff Bentley, both of Mukilteo, and a 2011 graduate of Kamiak High School.
Navy Midshipman Kaleb McConaghy, son of Tammara and Gary McConaghy of Oak Harbor, and a 2011 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Navy Midshipman Jonathan Lucas, a 2011 graduate of Archbishop Murphy High School.
Navy Midshipman John Jensen, son of Lori Jensen of Chisholm, Minn., and John MacNamee, of Oak Harbor.
