ARLINGTON — Anyone who attended a three-on-three basketball tournament on Aug. 14 and 15 at the Arlington Airport should consider getting tested for COVID-19, the Snohomish Health District said in a news release.
At least one case has been confirmed from the event, and other results are pending, while health district staff work with organizers to identify all participants.
Testing locations can be found at www.snohd.org/testing or by calling 425-339-5278.
The health district recommends avoiding large gatherings, especially if you are unvaccinated or are feeling ill.
“This is particularly true for indoor settings or crowded outdoor settings where social distancing cannot be maintained,” the news release said.
Event organizers should be ensuring that all state and federal guidance for large gatherings are being followed. If they become aware of a confirmed case linked to their event, they should contact the Health District promptly by emailing CDQuestions@snohd.org.
