EVERETT — Two baristas were sexually assaulted this week at separate bikini barista coffee stands along Evergreen Way, and Everett police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect.
The first incident occurred around 1 p.m. Sunday in the 5700 block of Evergreen Way. A man reportedly entered a coffee stand and attempted to assault an employee, who was able to fend him off, according to a press release. He fled the scene before officers arrived.
The second assault took place around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 9100 block of Evergreen Way. The suspect reportedly entered a different stand and again attempted to assault an employee, the release said. The description matched that of the earlier suspect.
He is described as a thin, light-skinned Black or Hispanic man, 6-foot-3, and about 20 to 30 years old. He may have a dark mustache or small goatee, according to police.
Anyone who sees the man should not approach him and is urged to call 911, the release said. Tips can also be shared with the Everett Police Department Tip Line at 425-257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
