LYNNWOOD — People can catch a free ride with Community Transit and several other Puget Sound transit agencies on New Year’s Eve.
The Everett-based bus and paratransit provider for most of Snohomish County will suspend fare collections from 4 a.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday. Buses and Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) service will operate on a Sunday schedule with less frequent service.
Sound Transit is offering a similar program on the Link light rail and its express buses, including the ones that serve Snohomish County, between 4 a.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.
King County Metro, Pierce Transit and the Seattle Streetcar also will not collect fares on New Year’s Eve.
