EVERETT — Snohomish County Elections will mail ballots to nearly 37,000 registered voters Thursday for the upcoming special elections in Edmonds and Brier.
On April 22, Edmonds residents will vote on whether the city will annex into South County Fire. In Brier, a levy lid lift for police and government services is on the ballot.
Each ballot packet includes a local voters’ pamphlet, which provides information about the ballot measures, drop box locations and voting instructions. Voters can return their ballot by mail as long as it is postmarked no later than April 22. Six drop box locations are available in Edmonds, Brier, Everett, Woodway, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Snohomish County Elections encourages voters who haven’t received their ballots by April 9 to contact the office at 425-388-3444.
Voters can update their registration information online or by mail until April 14, or in person at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
