SEATTLE — An Edmonds man was struck and killed Friday night while trying to cross I-5 on foot in Seattle, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Around midnight, an Everett man, 37, driving a Dodge Caravan was traveling on I-5 south near University Street in downtown Seattle, troopers said.
A pedestrian crossed from the right shoulder to the left shoulder, according to state patrol. The car hit the man, 20. It was unclear why the man, who died at the scene, was crossing the freeway.
Police did not arrest the driver.
