Eighth-graders at Eisenhower Middle School are among the first students in the United States to work with micro:bits, programmable boards developed by Microsoft, in an effort to find classroom uses for the USB-connected devices.
The devices have been used in classrooms in the United Kingdom, said Deborah Wrobel, Eisenhower Middle School 8th-grade advanced technology teacher. “We’re lucky enough to be chosen by them to work with their educational outreach program in our 8th-grade integrated technology classes.”
