Free topsoil
The city of Marysville offers free, screened fill dirt and topsoil mix for folks to use in gardens, lawns or for around-the-yard projects.
The city stockpiles reclaimed, native soil for in-house construction projects and has more than necessary to meet project needs

The free material can be picked up at the Kellogg Marsh Reservoir site at 100th Street NE and 67th Avenue. Gates are open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Visitors must complete and sign a hold-harmless agreement.

Robotics team seeks donations: Arts & Technology High School students in Marysville need monetary donations to travel to a robotics competition April 25-30 in Missouri. The team won a regional competition to advance to the international competition. The team estimates it will need at least $15,000 to make the trip possible for every member.

Help clean up Narbeck Wetlands: An early Earth Day work party focuses on tidying up Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary near Paine Field on April 16.
Jobs to tackle include removing invasive plants, trimming alders and cleaning a picnic area.
