Jesse James says he’s engaged to Kat Von D

LOS ANGELES — Motorcycle man Jesse James is engaged to tattoo artist Kat Von D.

“It’s true,” James told The Associated Press on Thursday. No wedding date has been announced.

James, 41, and Von D began dating over the summer after his very public split from Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock.

Von D, 28, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg, stars on the TLC reality show “LA Ink.”

James and Bullock’s marriage collapsed amid allegations of infidelity just after Bullock won an Oscar for her role in “The Blind Side” in 2010.
