CAMANO ISLAND — An 83-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital after a two-car crash on Tuesday.
The Camano Island man was driving a Mercedes-Benz E320 sedan. A little after noon, at the intersection of North Camano Drive and Utsalady Road, he pulled out in front of another vehicle, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The other vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 52-year-old Stanwood man, slammed into the driver’s side, sending the Mercedes rolling into a fence.
The man in the Mercedes was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition was not made available.
The other driver was not injured.
