TULALIP — The death of a man found Saturday in Tulalip is being investigated as a homicide, police say.
Around 10:10 p.m. Saturday, police discovered the man, 60, dead on Totem Beach Road on the Tulalip Reservation, according to the Tulalip Tribal Police Department. Officers detained another man. The two men reportedly knew each other. Police believe there is no danger to the broader community.
On Sunday, police working with the FBI served a search warrant at the crime scene. What they found led them to believe the man’s death was homicide. The suspect was arrested for investigation of murder. What exactly they found was unclear.
He was being held at the Snohomish County Jail on Tuesday.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased man, as well as rule on his cause and manner of death.
