SNOHOMISH — The man shot and killed early Tuesday morning south of Snohomish has been identified.
Around 2:45 a.m., two men got into an argument that turned physical in the 11000 block of 206th Street SE, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said. One of the men, 58, shot the other, 29.
Deputies pronounced the 29-year-old man dead at the scene. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Riley Davis.
The medical examiner’s office determined Davis was shot to death. It was unclear if the two men had a prior relationship or what were they arguing about.
O’Keefe didn’t immediately respond to questions Wednesday about the investigation.
Detectives took the shooter into custody for questioning. As of Wednesday afternoon, the suspect had not been booked into the Snohomish County Jail, according to jail records.
