PORT ORCHARD — A Port Orchard resident saw smoke coming from a neighbor’s house Wednesday night, ran inside and rescued a man with severe burns.
South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Lt. Rick Christenson told the Kitsap Sun that arriving firefighters found the 63-year-old man in the yard.
He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with second- and third-degree burns to his back and the back of his legs.
