MARYSVILLE — Police were searching for suspects after a gunfight in a Marysville neighborhood just after midnight Sunday.
Police believe three suspects arrived in a stolen vehicle in the 8400 block of 41st Drive Northeast and confronted a homeowner. The suspects and the homeowner were reportedly both armed. They shot at each other. It was unclear if anyone was injured. A Marysville police spokesperson didn’t respond to a request for more information Sunday.
The three suspects fled on foot, according to Marysville police. Officers from multiple agencies descended on the neighborhood in search of the suspects. For hours, police dogs and drones canvassed the area.
A police dog found one suspect, but the other two remained outstanding hours later, authorities said.
“We understand there are a lot of questions and concerns,” Marysville police wrote on Facebook. “Our detectives and officers are continuing to investigate. Only information that will not hinder the investigation will be provided.”
Police encouraged anyone with information on the shooting to provide tips at 425-407-3999.
