OLYMPIA — A woman accused of killing her former mental health counselor at his home in Olympia pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a murder charge.
The Olympian reported 27-year-old Lia Tricomo was ordered held in the Thurston County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
Prosecutors say she slashed John Alkins’ throat and strangled him with an extension cord April 29 after they had sexual relations.
The 58-year-old Alkins had been fired in December from Behavioral Health Resources for violating professional boundaries.
