MIFFLINBURG, Pa. — An Ohio teacher is in critical condition five days after police say a group of teens dropped a rock onto her car from a highway overpass.
Fifty-two-year-old Sharon Budd is hospitalized in central Pennsylvania, not far from where she was injured Thursday.
State police say two brothers, 18-year-old Brett Lahr and 17-year-old Dylan Lahr, face charges including aggravated assault. Their lawyer declined to comment Tuesday.
Authorities say they were among a group of four teens who drove to a bridge over Interstate 80 to throw rocks.
Police say a rock hit the windshield of the car carrying Budd, her husband and daughter.
State police told The Daily Item of Sunbury that prosecutors have not yet decided what charges, if any, to bring against the other two teens, both juveniles.
