Former “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss was sentenced Tuesday to three years probation on felony drug charges stemming from her arrest in the rural Nevada town Pahrump, where she lives, her lawyer said.
Fleiss, 43, pleaded guilty July 7 to unlawful use of methamphetamine and possession of the painkiller hydrocodone without a prescription. The charges stemmed from Fleiss’ Feb. 7, 2008, arrest.
The plea deal gives Fleiss a chance to have the convictions dismissed from her record if she remains out of trouble until 2012.
Kathryn Joosten, who plays crotchety Karen McCluskey on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” is battling a recurrence of lung cancer.

Keanu Reeves had no problem getting inside Buffalo, N.Y.-area jails. The feds haven’t been so lucky.
The actor spent the weekend scouting locations for a new film. His visit included tours of two jail facilities that are the target of a U.S. Justice Department lawsuit accusing the Erie County Sheriff’s Department of civil rights violations.
At the same time, county officials have barred federal investigators from the jails.
Afterward, county officials said Reeves shouldn’t have been allowed inside the jails.
