SEATTLE — A Sammamish woman has been arrested for drinking alcohol while awaiting sentencing for a fatal DUI.
KING-TV reported that Carol Sue Fedigan pleaded guilty to crashing through her home last May, killing her husband and son-in-law and leaving her Jeep dangling over Lake Sammamish.
Court documents say Fedgan had taken the sleeping aid Ambien and been drinking wine before driving. She had been driving with her toddler grandson in her lap, but neither of them was seriously hurt.
She was released until her sentencing day on the condition that she not drink, but a monitoring device detected alcohol from October 5-7.
Fedigan’s sentencing will be in late October.
