Scrub-a-dub-pup: Dog wash raises $6,000 for CASA

80 volunteers helped make the event happen.

Small to big, over 180 dogs of all sizes got a good scrubbing at the Camano Animal Shelter Association’s annual Dog Wash on Aug. 18. Over 200 dogs were brought to the event, most of them getting a good scrub and many also getting nails clipped. In all, 80 volunteers helped make the event happen. The fundraiser brought in $6,000, including contributions from donors who could not attend.
