EVERETT — The search for a missing 21-year-old man from Arlington entered its fifth day Friday.
Jonathan Hoang has been missing since Sunday evening. He was last seen around 7:30 p.m. at his home in Arlington, wearing a green shirt, khaki pants and black slip-on shoes, and may be carrying his iPad (which has no cellular data). Hoang, who is autistic, left barefoot without his cell phone or jacket.
Search efforts for Hoang include ground teams, K-9 units, drones and the SnoHawk 5 helicopter, including help from search and rescue teams from King and Island counties, according to a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
The search will continue Saturday. Residents in the area are urged to check backyards, outbuildings, garages, vehicles, and review home surveillance footage. If you have any information, please call 911 immediately.
People can help search efforts by sharing social media posts and staying alert for any sightings of Jonathan. The SCSO volunteer search and rescue team under the direction of the sheriff’s office Search and Rescue Unit “is made up of several hundred volunteers who are expertly trained in specialized search tactics and techniques for locating missing individuals.”
