SEATTLE — The Evergreen Point floating bridge across Lake Washington is going to be closed overnight for five weeks, starting Monday.
The state Transportation Department said crews are installing equipment for electronic tolling on the Highway 520 bridge.
It requires them to close the bridge from midnight to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday until the work is completed in February. In addition, Friday and Saturday overnight closures will start the weekend of Jan. 21.
The bridge is a major route between Seattle and the suburbs east of the lake.
