WALLA WALLA — The man who survived a motor home fire in Walla Walla that killed three women has been charged with the methamphetamine cooking operation that apparently started the fire.
The 41-year-old Walla Walla man, Jared F. Allen, was arrested Saturday and jailed in Pendleton, Ore.
The Walla Walla Union-Bulletin reports if he is convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine he would face a standard prison sentence of about nine years.
Allen escaped through a rear window and was treated for injuries to his hands and face. The fire on Feb. 25 killed his 19-year-old daughter, Shanda Lee Allen, 20-year-old Tri-Cities resident Annabel Nicole Bautista and 30-year-old Christine Thompson, the stepgranddaughter of the RV owner.
