TACOMA — A man washing windows at a Tacoma building has fallen to his death.
KOMO-TV reports that medics were called just before 10 a.m. Thursday to a building on Pacific Avenue.
Tacoma fire officials say when the medics arrived, they found the man dead.
KIRO-TV reports that it happened at the DaVita Tower. Tacoma police were at the scene where window washing gear and cable could be seen hanging from the building.
A bucket, rope and a pair of shoes were on the ground. It’s not known how far the worker fell.
Tacoma police and the Department of Labor and Industries will be investigating the death.
The victim’s name has not been released.
