LYNNWOOD — A woman was injured in a drive-by shooting Friday night on Highway 99, police said.
Around 8 p.m., the woman, 52, was walking in the 14800 block of Highway 99 near Bartell Drugs with several other people, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. A car drove by and someone inside fired multiple rounds, hitting the woman in the leg.
The woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.
“Multiple possible suspects were seen fleeing the scene in an unknown vehicle,” the sheriff’s office reported on social media.
Investigators recovered a shell casing from the scene. Police provided no further information Friday night.
It was unclear what, if any, connection the woman had with the suspects.
