YAKIMA — The Yakima City Council voted 5-2 against considering red light cameras for busy intersections in the city.
The vote Tuesday came after dozens of people spoke against the proposal at City Hall.
Supporters thought the automated-ticketing system could help reduce speeding and accidents.
