We are going to unleash the Pentagon’s Operation “Shock and Awe,” the heaviest blitzkrieg delivered since the bombings of Dresden, Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II, on Baghdad, utterly destroying one of the oldest cities in the world, with a population of more than 4 million? And we’re doing this to save them from Saddam Hussein? Then the survivors are going to hail us as liberators?
