President Trump is of the view that China and other a Asian countries dump all their exports on U.S. shores for the population to grab and consume. But, of course, all of the goods imported are a result of U.S. companies making deals with these countries and buying their merchandise. China in no way forces the U.S. to buy their stuff; they simply make it better and/or cheaper and the U.S. companies see a way of profiting by it.
If all this culminates in a money problem, it’s the fault of U.S. not the fault of their trading partners.
