Is it right to displace Palestinians for a Trump resort?

I read an article with interest and a little disbelief. I realize that we have a very strong military, but should we use it to “take” a people’s land? This was done before to the Palestinian people when after World War II we took their lands and estblished the state of Israel. The attack by Hamas was not only wrong but stupid. So does the United States help Israel acquire more land as a two-state resolution becomes roadkill. But does that justify our country’s assisting a U S President-real estate person to create a resort when the inhabitants are scattered to the winds of the Middle East.

I notice that the U.S. is more than willing under Trump to add gun-boat diplomacy as a way to acquire a new resort for the Trump empire. History has shown that negotiations that are forced at the point of a gun do not last.

Does our country really want to referee a conflict between the commercial interests of oligarchs and the people of Palestine who have been removed all in the name of profit? I for one do not think so.
