I totally do not understand why people are racists. Underneath our skin, we are all alike. We all have hearts, with feelings. We all have brains and can think. No one is better or worse than anyone else. Color or nationality makes no difference. There are good and bad individuals in all people, no matter where they came from. White people are no different than any others, when you look at the inside out. So why do we think we are so superior? Sure there are many terrorists overseas, but there are many here and many are white people. What we need to learn is respect for others and have some love and compassion for them. Many immigrants have come to our country to find peace, acceptance and a new way of life, without fear. We need to give them that chance without judgment because of their nationality. There are many wonderful, hard-working, loving people who come here. There are many people here who don’t have those traits — sorry to say.
