Part of my easement strip on Fort Nugent Park is just too steep for me to mow.
Recently an Island County crew came past and in 90 seconds man and machine did the job. It not only looks good, but also improves visibility for drivers and walkers.
Services like this will be gone if Proposition 1 fails. I will gladly pay the extra $40 a year to keep such ammenities. It’s what makes Whidbey Island so liveable.
