Snohomish Superior Court: Judge Rivera merits releection

As the general election draws closer, I am writing to strongly endorse Judge Whitney Rivera in her bid for re-election to the Snohomish County Superior Court. Her remarkable achievements and steadfast dedication make her an excellent choice for our Superior Court.

Judge Rivera’s career has largely been defined by her work as a public defender, where she has shown a deep commitment to justice and advocacy for those most in need. Her service in the Edmonds Municipal Court further highlighted her ability to manage cases with fairness and integrity. Since her appointment by Gov. Jay Inslee to the Snohomish County Superior Court, she has continued to embody the qualities of a distinguished judge: intelligence, compassion, and skill.

Her re-election is backed not only by her impressive record but also the extensive number of endorsements she has received. She has been endorsed by all current Snohomish County Superior Court, District Court, and Municipal Court judges, in addition to numerous other Washington court judges. She is endorsed by an extensive list of local and state elected officials, as well as many attorneys and community leaders.

In a time when trust in our judicial system is crucial, Judge Rivera exemplifies the qualities we value in our judges. Her unwavering commitment to ethical service, combined with her extensive experience and respect from colleagues, makes her the ideal candidate for re-election.

I encourage everyone to recognize her exceptional qualifications and support her in the upcoming election.
