Yo, dawg, that was dope: Former “American Idol” star Sanjaya Malakar, who lives in Federal Way, was stopped by police for speeding earlier this week. Police allege he was going 110 mph on I-405 outside Kirkland.

Randy Jackson said he liked Sanjaya’s daring choice of interstate, but Simon Cowell said the performance reminded him of a dirt track driver on a Saturday night.
