Lindsey Newman of South Whidbey had a triple-double with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals in a 64-31 win over Granite Falls. She also scored 19 of her team’s 29 points in a 53-29 loss to King’s.
Boys swimming
Tyler Carriker of Kamiak led a 1-3-4 finish in the 50-yard freestyle and placed second in the 100 freestyle to lead the Knights to their first 4A District 1 championship.
Boys basketball
Jon Enge of Highland Christian scored 32 points in a 67-59 win over North Sound Christian, 26 points in a 57-56 overtime Bi-District playoff win over North Sound and 16 in a 66-53 semifinal loss to Neah Bay.
Wrestling
Zach Zweifel of Lake Stevens won all three matches with first-round pins to take the 112-pound championship in the Region I meet and help lead the Vikings to the team title.
