Welcome to the Herald’s “Best of the Mariners” poll series.

The Herald is asking its readers to select the best season at each position in Seattle Mariners history.

There will be a new position poll each day through March 22.

Today, readers can vote on the best season by a starting pitcher. Here are the candidates:
