For immediate release, Evergreen Speedway (9/8/09)

Saturday Sept. 19 will be another night of triple track racing at Evergreen Speedway.

On the 5/8’s mile oval, the Speedway Chevrolet Super Late Model championship will be decided.

The Foster Press Mini Stocks take to the 3/8’s mile oval to decide who will wear the crown for the 2009 season.

As an added bonus race to the Cub Scout Hornets, a 100 lap endurance event has been put on the schedule.

The Hornets will run a 50 lap segment where the racers will draw for their starting positions. At the conclusion of the first 50 lap segment, scoring will check the finishing order and when the field restarts for the 2nd half a full invert of the field is how they will start. The racers will then run another 50 lap segment, for a total race of 100 laps.

The Hornet race will be on a road course. Drivers will be told just prior to the start of the segments how the road course is to be set up and which direction the cars will be going.

The winner of the race will receive $500, 2nd place will win $250, $150 to 3rd. Money payout will continue to the 20th position.

Pre-entry is required for the $500 to win, $300 will be paid to the winner if they fail to pre-enter. This is a non points hornet race.
